The second assignment was creating a ring inspired by a character. Our students chose a character that they were interested in and extracted the essence of the character.
This assignment helped students to explore fabricating a hollow construction from sheet metal, a technique that has endless possibilities in jewelry. The students focused on the basic hand skills of soldering, scoring, piercing, sawing, filing, sanding and bending. Thank you all for finishing this project! Great job everyone!
